Expire pruning requires the plugin?

Hi folks,

I did not realize that you needed the expire plugin in order to set a listing to DRAFT mode. I sent a ticket to support (still awaiting a response) and they did not point that out to me.

The result of not having the plugin enabled (I disabled all my plugins per support’s request) and what happens is that the listing reaches expiration time, still remains published BUT it does not show up in the Latest Listings block. The weird thing also is that it is still counted in the category widget. So without the expire plugin, you get buggy behavior.

Just wanted to put it out there in case folks experience the same weirdness. Now if I can only get my PayPal subscriptions to work, I’ll finally be in business (ticket filed). Fingers crossed.
