    I have disabled plugins still get errors, Switched themes still get errors. I have made a ticket and it’s been on going and they are not helping me, Seems that Well it’s not erroring now so I’m going to ignore you ticket until you jump up and down then make it like I’m helping you.
    I’m really sick of the non support with this theme.
    Same thing happens on another site with this theme.
    I had the same error before and that ticket is still open. Now it’s Back.
    the other ticket is from 28 January 2017 06:22 PM I asked to forward to the developer that never happened
    I went to chat with maria on Feb 3rd 2017 said that mark will look into this after the website maintenance was over. That never happened and you wonder why this company gets bad reviews.
    Now foward to today: I’m not letting up on this I have proven its the theme and others have had the same or similar errors.

    Here’s the current error

    [28-Jul-2017 13:51:14 UTC] WordPress database error Unknown column
    'wp_postmeta.meta_value' in 'order clause' for query SELECT
    SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.ID FROM wp_posts LEFT JOIN
    wp_term_relationships ON (wp_posts.ID =
    wp_term_relationships.object_id) WHERE 1=1 AND (

    wp_term_relationships.term_taxonomy_id IN (629)

    ) AND wp_posts.post_type IN ('post', 'page', 'attachment',
    'revision', 'nav_menu_item', 'custom_css', 'customize_changeset',
    'listing_type', 'wlt_message', 'wlt_banner', 'wlt_campaign',
    'wlt_feedback', 'wpcf7_contact_form', 'simple_link') AND
    (wp_posts.post_status = 'publish') GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY
    wp_postmeta.meta_value+0 desc LIMIT 0, 12 made by
    require('wp-blog-header.php'), wp, WP->main,
    WP->query_posts, WP_Query->query, WP_Query->get_posts

    @Mitchell

    backup your website data by creating a duplicate database so you won’t lose any changes which you made to the theme, then upload this duplicate database on to the freshly installed wordpress it should work.
    this normally happens when you upload or trying to test so many themes on to the same wordpress installation.

    Or just wait for the support advice and help.

    Thank for the advice. If I start a new install then use the same database wouldn’t the results be the same same plugins, same database same theme use a new set of wordpress files. Couldn’t I get the same results by reinstalling wordpress from the update menu?
    Unless I totally misunderstood you

    thanks

    I see in my logs the same error. Did you find a fix for this?

    WordPress database error Unknown column ‘wp_postmeta.meta_value’ in ‘order clause’

    Hi Mitch,

    Can you post your;

    …/wp-content/themes/DT/framework/class/class_core.php

    If it’s fixed, it should be in this file.

    Hi Mitch,

    by chance I saw your website in another post. I think this problem exists in your website also.

    Whenever you sort your tags according to “hits” or “featured”, you get no results.

    Great I’m about to start over from scratch I have had nothing but problems and in each instance, I have asked for help with support and got no answer until I jumped up and down and then someone answered the ticket and then no results ticket was never fixed. I forgot how I stopped the error log.

    I’m not going to install New from a new WP install and manual add my Paid users and then admin added sites not very happy at the moment.

    Thanks for finding it

    New install would not solve this problem. This looks like a general BUG.

    The theme is hooking a callback into one of the WP_Query hooks and the code only includes data from the wp_posts and wp_term_relationships table but it’s trying to ORDER BY data from the wp_postmeta table which is not possible.

    @Mark please help us to fix this

    Error message:

    SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.ID FROM wp_posts LEFT JOIN wp_term_relationships ON (wp_posts.ID = wp_term_relationships.object_id) WHERE 1=1 AND (

    ) AND wp_posts.post_type IN ('post', 'page', 'attachment', 'revision', 'nav_menu_item', 'custom_css', 'customize_changeset', 'oembed_cache', 'user_request', 'wp_block', 'listing_type', 'wlt_message', 'wlt_banner', 'wlt_campaign', 'wlt_feedback') AND (wp_posts.post_status = 'publish' OR wp_posts.post_status = 'confirmed' OR wp_posts.post_author = 1 AND wp_posts.post_status = 'private') GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY wp_postmeta.meta_value desc LIMIT 0, 10 sorgusu için WordPress veritabanı hatası Unknown column 'wp_postmeta.meta_value' in 'order clause'" while reading response header from upstream, client: 127.0.0.1, server: www.site.com, request: "GET /tag/mytag/?orderby=featured&order=desc

    So, I opened a ticket regarding this. This is a general BUG for v8. I checked some websites given in this forum and I did not find an exception. Every website with v8 seems to have this problem. I wonder why nobody reported this until now.

    If I ever get an answer regarding this, I will let you know :)
