Editing Sidebar in Custom Template file

    I was able to create a new template file without any issues, but I want to be able to place a slideshow across the entire page. When added the sidebar is hidden underneath the image. https://www.sfahba.org/about-sfahba/
    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix? Or where the files are to edit. I could find any sidebar.php files
