OK, I have given this one a fair crack and my CSS skills are tapped out.
I have a menu set up with three parent items. Only one of the parents ‘About’ has a child item ‘Contact’…
When you mouse over the green ‘About’ button the background of that button is set to transparent and the button disappears. See attached screenshots.
Now I can tell from the ‘inspect element’ tool that on mouseover of the button the class changes from “menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page current-menu-item page_item page-item-2 current_page_item menu-item-has-children dropdown” to “menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page current-menu-item page_item page-item-2 current_page_item menu-item-has-children dropdown open” … but from there I am stuck.
If anybody can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
