DP7.1.4 What line of code does the query for category search?

I have looked and tested and still this eludes me. And before i spend more time I thought I would ask.

In DP7.1.4, what line of code in what file does the actual WordPress query for finding the listings when you do a category drill down type search? I find a number of places where the query string is created and altered and just can not yet find that line that does the actual query for search.

The results is the $GLOBALS[‘query_data’] array used in the function GALLERYBLOCKDO in class_design.php.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
