    @Michael, there was some problem with caching and security plugins on your site. For some reason even when the caching plugin was disabled, the site carried on serving cached content (looks like there is some additional caching implemented on the server) and it affected the functionality of the plugin. I have installed the latest version of the Hide Description in Submission plugin and tested it extensively to make sure it is working correctly on your site.
    Please check it out and let me know via ticket if you still experience any issues.
