Directorypress V7 – Showing only the ticked Custom Fields in Listing

Im creating a listing page for universities where they can show all the courses they offer. I cant do this via categories, as you can only have a maximum of 10, so Ive create a custom field with multiple course options. It looks a bit messy with so many titles all next to each other, but it does the job.

The problem I have is that when I bring up a listing in the Search screen, it looks fine – it shows only the ticked courses – however when I go into the listing itself it shows every single course, even the unticked one.
Is there a way of making the listing replicate the view of the Search for this field?
(if file editing required, please advise on the location/name of the file)
