    I am new to WordPress and DirectoryPress so please forgive the simplicity of this question. I would like to remove the default Widget that has the text:

    DirectoryPress Version 7.1.4
    Thank You For Purchasing DirectoryPress This is an example widget found in the new version for you to play with!

    I have looked at DirectoryPress / Display Settings and at Appearance / Widgets but can’t find the element that generates this display in the website. I’d really like to delete it.
