Customizing the Add Listing Section

    In the add listing section, there is the media space, description, category and location. My question is which file do i need to edit because i want the category section to appear second after the media space.

    I checked the theme files and they are separated in the templates area when you only want to edit one section: DA9/templates/add-form categories.php, DA9/templates/add-form location.php, etc. Where is the main file grouping these 4 in that particular order? E.g. i want mine to look like this: media space, category, description then last location.

    I believe the files are:
    wp-content/themes/DT9/templates/add-form-categories.php
    wp-content/themes/DT9/templates/add-form-details.php
    wp-content/themes/DT9/templates/add-form-location.php
    wp-content/themes/DT9/templates/add-form-main.php
    wp-content/themes/DT9/templates/add-form-media.php
    wp-content/themes/DT9/templates/add-form-packages.php
    wp-content/themes/DT9/templates/add-form-youtube.php

    With add-form-main.php being the one that groups the others together.
    I think it best to play with these in a child theme.

    Hi,

    What did you do to add-form-main.php to rearrange the order?

    Dan called it up above. Be sure to make a child theme first! I am not responsible for you messing up your instance! I should note I am on Version 9.4.3
    I also added the code changes as txt attachments.
    In my case, I needed category selection to occur before description you have to switch the order in add-form-main.php for example here I switched categories to occur before details (Compare this to yours)

    <div id=”MAINCONTAINER”>

    <div id=”accordion”>
    <?php get_template_part(‘templates/add’, ‘form-media’ ); ?>
    <?php get_template_part(‘templates/add’, ‘form-categories’ ); ?>
    <?php if(THEME_KEY == “mj”){ ?>
    <?php get_template_part(‘_micro/micro’, ‘form-addons’ ); ?>
    <?php } ?>
    <?php get_template_part(‘templates/add’, ‘form-details’ ); ?>
    <?php if(defined(‘GOOGLE-MAPS’) && _ppt(‘default_listing_map’) == 1 ){ ?>
    <?php get_template_part(‘templates/add’, ‘form-location’ ); ?>
    <?php } ?>
    <?php if(in_array(THEME_KEY, array(‘dt’,’rt’,’ct’,’at’,’mj’,’so’))){ ?>
    <?php get_template_part(‘templates/add’, ‘form-youtube’ ); ?>
    <?php } ?>

    </div>

    But this is not all…

    You will need to go into
    add-form-categories.php
    and look for “collapse” then change it to the right number. So for example below, I changed “headingOne to headingTwo and collapseOne to collapseTwo
    I also had to go to the add-form-details.php and change it from headingTwo to headingOne and collapseTwo to collapseOne. Get the idea? These are the re-order points. Good luck!

    <div class=”<?php if(defined(‘IS_MOBILEVIEW’) ){ }else{?>card rounded-0<?php } ?>” <?php if($categories_count == 0){ ?>style=”display:none”<?php } ?>>
    <div class=”card-header” id=”headingTwo”>
    <h5 class=”mb-0″>
    <button class=”btn btn-link btn-block text-left text-uppercase font-weight-bold text-dark collapsed” data-toggle=”collapse” data-target=”#collapseOne” aria-expanded=”false” aria-controls=”collapseOne”>
    <?php echo __(“Category”,”premiumpress”); ?> <span id=”SelCountPre”>( <span id=”SelCatCount”>0</span> / <span class=”ppmaxcats”>0</span>)</span>
    </button>
    </h5>
    </div>
    <div id=”collapseOne” class=”collapse” aria-labelledby=”headingOne” data-parent=”#accordion”>
    <div class=”<?php if(defined(‘IS_MOBILEVIEW’) ){ ?>mt-3<?php }else{?>card-body<?php } ?> add-listing-form”>
