CSV Import Error?

Hi,

I’ve had a few problems importing a CSV file today.

First time round I had the warning about magic quotes so I changed the php to 5.5 and it removed the warning. I then tried to upload a test file and tried the slow import. There were 8 rows so after about 15 minutes of ‘please wait…’ I refreshed and it went back to the import page with nothing uploaded. I then tried the quick import however that just kept pushing me back to the login screen. I then went back to try again and now when I try and upload any csv file it says the following:

“Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock’ (2) in your CSV file.”

Sadly I’m now 100% out of my depth so any support would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again – other than the one or two niggles i’ve posted about and this – this is an all round fantastic template compared to the others I’ve sampled.
