CSV file import format – help

I am about to import a bunch of business listings using csv import and I’ve created the following csv file format to do this. (derived from the fields of a csv export of the dummy entries that come with the theme.

ID,post_author,post_date,post_content,post_title,post_excerpt,post_type,category,hits,hits_array,image,tagline,url,post_id

Mark … could you please tell me:

1 Is this csv format correct?

2 Should I include the first item ie: ID in the csv import format…. or does the Directory Theme create it’s own ID for each listing entry?
