Coupon Layout

Forgive me but I’m new with these templates. I’ve managed to get the website up and running but I’m having a problem with the layout of the coupon – see here:

I just want it to look like this: https://www.premiumpress.com/demowebsite/?t=coupontheme

The only way I could get the ‘get code’ and thumbs up to appear was by using short codes. But they are not displayed properly. I was expecting to get the layout on the demo site out of the box so not sure if I’m over looking something really simple or do I need to use HTML/CSS to get the layout required?
