Code in Theme files

Hi,
i want to put some code into my responsive directory theme.

Some code under the title of single page.

2.
Facebook Comments Code

which is the correct file and on which position? i tried in single.php but i thing the wrong place because no effect in frontend.

i use the template_directory_theme
