Child Theme's css does not override the parent or custom CSS?

    I started to redesigned the web again. I created a child theme with its styles CSS but unfortunately, no matter what I do i can not override the parent css.
    Yes I could use the custom css from Theme setup but this takes a lot longer to save it and reload.

    do I need to do any extra step or I’m missing something so I could use my own child theme’s styles?
    Any help please!
