Child theme – parent theme problem

Hi,

I wanted to install a child theme and test it. I Do not know if I installed it properly, I put the child theme with my other theme in the ftp, and activated it. I could’t find the way to do it like in the demo.

After testing it, I wanted to go back on my parent theme. But now, it seems that parts of the child theme are still applying on the parent one : there’s the slider, menu is different and there’s a search field and social buttons on the right of the header.

Is it normal, how can I do to remove it ?
