Child not working

I installed yesterday all completely new version (wordpress, classifiedtheme 7.1.4 and Child theme template basic lifty). I added classifiedstheme to the style.css. Now I can see the theme and choose it as default.
What I’m doing wrong cause the theme is the old classified cool instead of the child (cache was deleted on browser)? I also cannot choose on classified general setup the theme cause it is not there. Can you please advise me what to do, or it is a bug with latest framework ?
