Checkbox Field not editable in admin area (user)

Hi there

I created a register field (checkbox) with few possibilities to check. At register process the new user can choose his qualification. The field appears in the user area (admin) but only as textfield with the text array.

So as admin i have no possibility to change the user qualification. Did i made a mistake or is this not possible? Any solution? Thank you
