Changing settings in search results

I cannot change the settings in my general search settings to turn on “show map”, “category description”, “display no image”, or really anything other than the display order… Any ideas on how to fix this?

I also cannot turn any of the mobile settings “on”. Once I click save it automatically goes back to “off.” Any ideas?–the same goes for almost the entire general settings sub areas for me…
