Change Location Changes on Category Click

When I change my location and then click on any category, the location changes (I can tell by the flag), What would cause this? From the user’s perspective, this should not change, but be available for searches. Therefore when I search and click on “get directions” from a listing, it sends me to lat,long 0,0 which are the coordinates specified in general setup. Now, I want users to click on a listing and get directions from their previously set location (CHANGE LOCATION), to the listing’s address. In other words, I don’t want each listing to map to location 0,0 that’s specified in general settings. Anyone’s help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
