Category Widget – Any advice how to make it colapsable ?

Hi everyone,

I added the category widget on categories page listing, but because i have to many subcategories it takes a lot of space.

I want to transform this widget and make categories colapsable.
This means that on page loading to load only category colapsed and when a user clicks a category this should expand.
When it clicks another category to close the category expanded previously and expand the new one was clicked.
