Categories not showing in any plugins options

    Hi,
    I’m having a problem in that whichever plugins I’m trying, if they have an option to display by category, my listing categories are not displayed as an option.
    I’d really like to use adrotate for example, but I can’t setup ad groups properly as the categories for my listings are not shown?
    The problem has occurred with any other plugins I’ve been looking at recently, and I guess I’ve only just realised that this is my issue, and not the individual plugins themselves.
    Any suggestions?
