    Hi,

    I set the categories on the left column vertically (WP > Design > Widget) because it looks better than the horizontally version you can set via the theme (Theme Options > Page Setup > Home Page > Content Elements > Categories).

    BUT when i set them on the left column i don’t have the icons which are linked with the categories (Listing Manager > Categories).

    Is there a way to customize the categories-widget?

    PS: Look at the attachments

    The sidebar category block doesnt have the same options, the only way todo add categories here would be to use CSS and add them manually.

    Hey Mark,

    i noticed that and added this code to css:

    .list-group-item {
    background-image: url(https://www.2ndhandgames.de/wp-content/themes/AT/framework/img/iconpack1/24.png);
    background-position: initial initial;
    background-repeat: no-repeat no-repeat;
    }

    Look at the attachment to see what happened.

    How can i distinguish between the categories? I mean, which code is right to add only one picture to one category?

    Thanks

    You can use CSS nth-child to add icons to specific ones.

    I need more help.

    After i have work with the nth-child, i got this results (attachment).

    I used this CSS code:

    .core_widgets_categories_list li a:nth-of-type(1) {
    background-image: url(https://www.2ndhandgames.de/wp-content/themes/AT/framework/img/iconpack1/24.png);
    background-position: initial initial;
    background-repeat: no-repeat no-repeat;
    }

    I distinguish between the main- and sub-category, but can’t separate the main-categories…
