Can't access Dashboard

Hi,
Once the user registers then you can’t access the dashboard, they are redirected to the payment page. Is there a way to fix this so they can view their dashboard and be able to select the memberships from there?

Also, once the user picks a membership are they automatically assigned to that membership or do I need to go as an admin in the backend and assign the membership in the users profile?
