Breadcrumb styling gone funny after upgrading theme.

Hi I had breadcrumbs all set up and looking good. Upgraded the theme and now it is not working right anymore.
The nice styling that was on there is gone and when you have more than two links there appears to be no styling at all.
Have added a screen shot of before and after for you to see what I mean.
I have tested this on a clean install with no customisation from me at all – in case it is something I have done but it is still the same.
Any help appreciated.
