    Hi,

Looking at the docs, it says you can assign banners to specific categories.

    How is this achieved?

Also, how does one make these rotate?

    Many Thanks

    Richard

    Hi,

    Thanks for that,

One other thing if I may,

Okay, when you banner but do not specify a category, it shows site wide.

However, if you want that same banner to show in both i.e. category and site wide, it seems you can’t?

Presumably you have to add the same banner twice of which, you can then select one of them to show in a target category.

    Is this correct?

    Many Thanks

If you dont select any cateogry , it will display the banner Sitewide ( Including Homepage, Pages, Category )

If you want to display the banner only on category , Select the particular category (s)

If you want to display the banner only on Homepage but not category , then i think you have to add it in general setup -> Page setup

    Hi Rahuljain,

It seems that you have to add the same banner twice (2)?

    Set 1 for main,
    Set 2 to target category,

You cannot select multiple targets with one banner

    Thanks

You can select multiple categories for a single banner.

Advertising setup -> select the banner and edit option -> Display category ( Add all the categories you want to display

If its different banner You have to add differently.

But yeah you cant set multiple banners at same location.

    Hi Rahuljain,

Looking at the way it works, you can as you say, select other categories however, you can’t also select ‘site wide’ with the same banner.

    Thanks 😉

What if I wanted to have a banner on the homepage, linked to a page within my site, advertising banner space. Then have other banners available in each category? I wished there was a way to add a page (home page) as well as a category. Seems two options only: site wide or one on each category only?

And, could the banners be animated gifs?
