Backend Customization for client

After purchasing the microjob theme, i created a child theme which helps in keeping any custom css files but my question is on the face that we needed to change some written content to suit the clients need. E.g the microjob used listing and we needed to change all listing to Services. We are copied the framework folder to the child theme to preserve the same structure but no changes takes place in the child theme except in the parent theme. Any help with this will be appreciated cos one there’s an update – its a another kind of drama and heartaches.

Why is the changes not working in the child theme except the parent theme?
