Auctions not being added to selected category

Hello,

I’ve set up two new auctions at Chippy’s Auctions and both times I had to go into the admin area in order to set the category, even after I had selected it when creating the auction from the “Submit New Auction” page. Can someone help me get it so that the selected category or categories work when the user chooses them from the “Submit New Auction” page?
