Auction Relist Length

I searched the forum and don’t see anything on this… but just noticed if a seller setup an auction lets say for 7 days and the auction ends without a winner and the seller goes to re-list the item again, it sets the auction to 30 days !! ?? Why would it not re-list the auction for 7 days?

I think the re-list option should either allow the seller to re-list it at the same time they chose when setting up the auction or give the seller the option to choose, not just throw it back out there for 30 days.
