Advertising in Footer Banner

Hello,

The footer banner advertising code shows up underneath the footer wrapper, thus underneath the copyright information. 🙁

I would like my footer advertising banner to actually be in the “real” footer block of my site, above the copyright info.

I edited the CSS to include a background image and got it there, but the problem with that is you cannot add a “click to” link in a background image, which of course, blows the whole point of having an ad there.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get my clickable ad above the copyright footer-wrapper section? Or know a way via css to get a bg image to be clickable?
