Adding shortcodes to Search Page

Does anybody know what file I can edit to add a particular shortcode on the top portion of the search page.
I am trying to echo a shortcode using wordpress “echo do_shortcode” method. I was under the impression that there was a layout editor for the actual search page, but I don’t see any. I know there’s a layout editor for the search results.
Does anybody know or can point me in the right direction?
