Adding Prev/Next buttons to recently added listings

I noticed that the homepage has the ability to be navigated by typing “/page/2” after domain name. I want to add a previous/next button to allow for homepage navigation. Can someone guide me in editing the theme files to allow pagination on the Auctionpress theme homepage? Any help is greatly appreciated!
