Color select plugin & Custom Page Text

using V 8.8 DT with Child Caesar.
1. Installed color plugin, but it is non responsive, Any change of color does not save – still shows data from July – see screenshot
2. Custom Page text on “Listing setup” -see screen shot – this text does not appear on the Add-Listing page, like it did before in 8.3.
the Custom Page text (entered below the Listing packages works fine) – I guess it is a redundancy of fields and only use that one with the text.
You might want to take the one off as shown on the screenshot

thanks for any tip about color selector, if it only works on core template and not child?
