image slider at the top of homepage

i want to add a slider that i can control and put my own images with corresponding links to wherever i want. on home page > homepage setup there is a listing for revolution slider. when i clicked on it it had a warning saying it was version 1 and needed to be upgraded etc so did not install. i use it on some of my other websites with good results but have not yet on coupons. @mark will you update this so we can use it please? qlso will any of the other slider options in ourbackend work? for example, one is called “full image slider”. can it be used like revolution s lider? say 10 rotating images for example. they will not be listings or listing carosel. thank you, mark;-)
