Pagination in new coupon version 8.5

    I am using default theme template, I saw a post that references that it is possible to use pagenav with the following:
    [LISTINGS show=5 nav=1]

    I tested to modify home-layout-coupon1.php and used shortcode above. I have about 50 listings right now so I would like to display 5 or 8 per page and then go to next page to show the rest. Used the shortcode above and it added the pagination (page number and next page button) however when I go to Page 2, I got a blank page that says that no results were found.

    How can I configure pagination in home page using default theme template in order to show only 5 or 8 listings in page one and the rest in subsequent pages?
