Change position main image. How?

Hi There,

How can I change the position of the main image in the header (man with drawing). I changed the image (see custom meta data below) but don’t know how to change the position of the image (more to the left for example and a bit lower). And… when I downsize the windowsize the image repeats itself? Don’t understand this. I’ve tried to place a full size image (1170 px wide) but that doesn’t work and the man in the picture ends up behind the search box.
