classified theme list view uniform size

Hi. In classified theme list view the box heights are different heights and make it look like crap. (the box the advert is in, every advert is surrounded by the border of the box. Could be called Block too) Say one is 50 px the other might be 200 px high. (the numbers are relative so don’t take them at face value) How to set the size so they are all the same uniform height. So I want all Blocks to be the same uniformed height.
I guess the excerpts are making it that, but regardless of the number of words in the excerpts the box/block should be cutting the text off and put the Read More link to the end. Is there a way to do this?
