Change Map Marker image

I apologise if this is already covered, but I’m unable to find anything with the search feature.
Can someone please tell me how i change the image that appears on the map? at the moment in the directory theme i have some strange flag looking image and id like to change it, but when i go through the files i can’t find this image anywhere. Ive attached an image of it currently.
