How to transfer data to sub domain

Hi guys,

I have for a couple of months started a directory site and have a good amount of listings added my me. But I want to have categories and listings on a different page rather than home page. I have tried using short code for categories but the look is not so professional as in home page using drag and drop objects. Is there a way out to achieve this?

If not, then I am thinking to shift the directory listings as well as the categories to a sub domain ex. directory.xyz.com. My idea is to use home page for other informations and directory on a subdomain. I will do a fresh install of the directory theme on the subdomain but I do not understand how to transfer listing and categories data to a sub domain. I have tried using the export/import tool but in vain.

How can I achieve this in my hosting panel> file manager. Can anyone help me on this.
