Search missing in child theme header

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to make the basic search bar appear in the header of a Classifieds child theme.

Can somebody point me to the appropriate settings in the Page Setup or General Setup?

Creating a child theme pretty much destroyed all of the header settings. If anybody can post the theme’s default header settings, I would appreciate it.

Basically, I want to get it back to this state:
