orderby=distance&order=asc on Homepage using Recent Listings not working

    I’m trying to show a block of Recent Listings on my homepage sorted by distance, nearest first. I trued using orderby=distance&order=asc as querystring, however this seems to group them by category before distance.

    I then tried to use an advanced search querystring, s=&tx_listing=0&zipcode=XXX&radius=50&advanced_search=yes&orderby=distance&order=asc, but while this works on the advanced search, on the homepage it always orders them descending (furthest first), never ascending (nearest first).

    I’m using the latest version of WordPress and Responsive Directory Theme (Feb 13, 2015).
