    So this drives me crazy. I’ll try to explain it simply:

    1. WordPress Settings -> General -> Email Address: someaddress@gmail.com

    2. When I go to Email Setup and change the default “From Email”, it also changes it in the above wordpress settings.

    WHY?!

    What if I want to get system notifications to my private email, and send email to users via a “Do Not Reply” email? I don’t want users to get emails from my private email address.

    I was trying to solve it by editing the welcome email’s email headers, but I still get emails from my private address.

    Help please?
