    Hello all;

    I am very new to WordPress and despite some coding background, I am not familiar with PHP. Now having said that, I would like to do what may require knowledge beyond my current level of experience.
    In order to make the visitor experience more seamless, I would like to integrate some of the capabilities of other vendor’s WP plugins into my listings on DT 8.0.

    Specifically, I am using a classifieds plugin (Another WordPress Classifieds Plugin), and an events plugin (Events manager) to add more capability to the DT 8.0 based site I am developing.
    However, it occurred to me that it would be cool to be able to show Events and Classified ads created with those other plugins in a member’s listings. This makes the visitor experience more seamless as they get to view all the lister’s content in one location, as opposed to having to navigate to separate pages for each site function.

    I’m sure others have faced this problem, and I am wondering what level of capability is required to pull this off. I would like to do as much site development myself as I can get away with, and am willing to learn.

    I suppose I could start with custom fields in the listing and simply require that the member insert URLs to their existing Ads and Events, but that seems low tech. 🙂
    It would be nice to have some conditional code automatically display link enabled Ad and/or Event titles if the user has created any on the site.

    Thanks for any advice.
