Internal messaging system

OK, is it just me, or is this lacking?? from what I see here, when one receives a message they can view it, but the only option is to delete it. There doesn’t seem to be a “respond” option. The user has to compose a completely new message and manually provide the recipients name. Surely I am missing something??
