Header Back Ground

Hi,

Could anyone help me to resolve this silly problem? I’ve now resorted to resetting the entire Themes colour scheme, under the Menu Bar & where my Logo Banner normally sits. You’ll see a lovely greyish colour, which i cant get rip of!! Ive tried everything & have now given up, it looks like the Home Page has slipped from the top!!! leaving the pale grey which is underneath!! You can also see the my Header area is now huge, I tried to place a slider there!!
