Get value of custom field

Hi there,

I’m looking for a way to retrieve the value from a custom field. The FIELD shortcode doesn’t do the trick, as I ONLY want the value (without formatting). I’m making changes to the single listing file as I need some fields to appear in a certain way.

Does anybody have an idea about how I can do that?
