Cloaking issue

Hi. I am moving my coupons over to the new theme and have found an issue with the cloaking. My linkshare id has a “*” in it. My post has the correct url listed. When the link is redirected from the cloaked link back to my link the “*” is missing causing the link not to work. It works fine on the old couponpress. I had this happen before on another theme. If could point me in the right direction so I could look at the code, that would be great. I might be able to figure it out. Thanks.
