German date format [listing_expiry_date]

hello
I have added in the Page Setup in the Search Result: Ends: [listing_expiry_date]

Unfortunately, shows the date not in the German format: day, month, year. I have set the date time in the backend of WordPress. Nothing happens. Apparently, the date format is not used by the WordPress Core.

Does anyone have any idea how I can reformat the date for the whole theme of German Zone.
Convert ‘Y-m-d H:i:s’ to ”d.m.Y H:i:s” with no core change would be ideal…
