email short codes not displaying values

I am using version 6.5 responsive theme, I am setting up the emails under EMAIL SETUP, however when I use the shortcodes for listing contact form such as:

Name: (name)
Email: (email)
Phone: (phone)
Message: (message)

When a user fills out the listing contact author form, the email comes exactly as above and the actual values do not display instead of the short codes.

Any assistance is appreciated.
