change "stores" folder to "brands" and stores/brands 404 page since update

Hey guys, I am loving this coupon theme 🙂

Does anyone know if its possible to change the “store” folder name to “brands”?. I have done this in permalinks, which works when you click on the stores names, but the sub folder”brands” is a 404, but then again I think the stores folder went to a 404 before since the update, is there a fix for this aswell?.

For the niche I am doing, most is from the same store, they have tons of brands so that works alot better for me with this.
