Slider resizing between slides

I am working on two sites that both are showing a similar behavior with the 6.5.2 update (which I already like because it is playing nicer than 6.5) The reason I am working on two is that one is on GoDaddy and the other Hostgator trying to see which one is “faster, lighter, less of a hassle” and check if issues change with different hosts.

I am seeing a “vertical jump” in the slider size between slides on all three main browsers.

Slider images are 940×352 as labeled in the placeholder images. My first thought is that this is too small since the original 940×300 had more of a jump.

Firebugs says (CSS) height is auto and width is at 100%, so I presume that any height should work, but as mentioned 300px tall images appeared to jump more.

By the way, thanks for all the hard work Mr. Fail. From a busy guy perspective, I will show my loyalty by acquiring more themes. In particular, I see a future where coupons will support the directories.

Also, have you considered another level of support separate from the themes as an “upgrade”?
